South Fayette Tournament

The CV Lady Colts 4th Grade Team had a great showing at the South Fayette Tournament. In pool play the girls played 3 great games against West Allegheny, North Allegheny, and South Fayette. They were all very well played games and we were able to come out on the winning side in each of these contests. CV Lady Colts got the #1 seed in our bracket which put us up against the #4 team Hopewell. We had an early 8:15 start on Sunday and than we moved onto play at 10:00 am against Hopewell. The girls played a great game and won which allowed us to move on in the tournamnet. The schedule has us playing at 3:15pm against West Allegheny. It was a tough battle on the court but the CV Girls were able to out score their opponent to move onto the Championship Game. The Championship game was set at 7:15pm and we discovered our opponent would be Peters Township. We knew going in this was going to be a tough game for us. We are on our 4th game for the day and the girls were like is this for real.. The girls must have gotten some rest because they came out on fire in the first half on both ends of the court. 17-1 at halftime. Second half the girls were able to reach down and pull out another victory and the Championship.
